Happy Father's Day to you

June 18th, 2017

Happy Father

Well, I won't be blogging much on this site. It seems no one really is interested in what I (or others for that matter) have to say. And that's truly ok. So, if you want to learn more about me, go to and read my blog there. It's much more personal. FAA is more of a nesting place for my photos, a virtual portfolio if you will.
I've been concentrating on my new book The RecordKeeper - more than a journal. It is doing quite well and my hopes are to publish one in Spanish and maybe fine-tune to certain illnesses - who knows. I just like the path I'm on. I'm still photographing to be sure; THAT is a passion for always. And I show my images in The RecordKeeper, so how great is that?

Does anyone else Blog?

Does anyone else Blog?

Well, I'm not following very many people these days on FAA. I am a photographer and still appreciate all kinds of art. Yes, I shot with a digital camera but in this photo those clouds are real. I did not "place them" into the image. I didn't "paint" anything anywhere. So I will join groups that are a little more real with their work. Kudos to those that want to manipulate the hell out of an image. I just don't want to waste my time viewing it. Thank you, Marie Neder

Cannot sleep

May 5th, 2017

Can't seem to get to sleep tonight, so here it is 3:02am and I have to get up at 7:30 for an 8:45 appointment, wouldn't you know? So I uploaded a couple of images onto this fine site wondering if anyone actually reads any of FAA artist's blogs. Maybe someone will respond to this. If not, I'm still up and typing away..........ah, to sleep, per chance to - I just want to sleep.....

The RecordKeeper

The RecordKeeper

Well I am now published! Yahooooooooooo! The name of this "book" is The RecordKeeper. When you go to Amazon type in either: "The Recordkeeper" or Marie Neder and it will pop up.

I'm very excited about this new venture plus it has some of my black and white photos inside, after every 7 days. It's a way of "giving back" to the world, if you will, when I was very sick back in 2009. It's not free but $16 isn't a bad price for what you get. It's a great tool, too.
