What a day at Whaleshead Beach! Woo hoo! The waves were something else. Whaleshead is about maybe 15 miles (if that) north of Brookings, Oregon, Samuel H. Boardman scenic corridor is the area with so many pull out and parking areas to see so many cool places, like Arch Rock, Rainbow Rock, House Rock, etc. It is a vacation destination for many people.

Thanks Douglas. This was such a "trippy" day and the waves, wow. Brookings and surrounding area(s) are magnificent, but to live in a small town is not working for me with my medical issues, so I'll be moving towards Eugene come Spring. But I love being near water for sure. King tides are upon us, too. Best, Marie
