Artist's Description
I took this shot at the Lavender Farm in the Applegate Valley (near Grants Pass, OR) and if you look closely part of this lovely creature is missing, probably from a bird - and still what a site! I pritned this on Epson's Velvet Fine Art Paper as an 8 1/2 by 11 and wow, it came out really nice. Enjoy this image.
About Marie Neder
Thanks for taking your valuable time to read what little I've stated in this abbreviated biography. And of course to view my images. And not all of my images are pretty or "feel good" by any means. They should make you feel or think though. I was born in San Diego, California and was a military brat living...

Beautiful shot and colours! L/f

Thanks Kim. Notice the butterfly has a rip in her/his wing?!

Thank you Jim - I ended up printing on the Velvet Epson paper and it looks like the butterfly is velvet and that you could reach out and touch it. I think I "got" the image even though part of this lovely creatures's wing had been bitten/whatever off. Thanks again.
